WeChat Party 2013 feat. Malaysian Ambassadors @LisaSurihani & @Shaheizy_Sam

In conjunction with the appointment of Lisa Surihani and Shaheizy Sam as its Malaysian celebrity brand ambassadors, WeChat through the good folks at PersonEdge invited us to celebrate the launch of its first Malay TVC, together with the local performers Awi RafaelHenley Hii, Vivian Chua, and the star DJ Rudy as the host for the night.

And boy was it a fun night or what!

Yeap, in the battle for mass users, WeChat has come to Malaysia by snapping up some of Malaysia’s most digital savvy celebrities, with Shaheizy Sam (956,000+ followers on Twitter, 460,000+ fans on Facebook) and Lisa Surihani (124,800+ followers on Twitter and 2,500,000+ fans on Facebook!) to be in board WeChat, and I’m sure their presence would cause their fans to directly contact them on the popular social messaging app – where you can even send voice messages instantly ala Walkie-Talkie style, “The New Way to Connect”.  (Get more features in the video below this post!)

The party took place at “The New Way to Connect”, where we were promised a sumptious dinner, and was not only surprised with that but something else as well! Look at them cute cupcakes! Doesn’t just look good, but is yums too 😀

Then we had Vivian Chua belting out a few memorable numbers… Love her voice!

While moving about, look who I bumped into?! The long lost @QueenJerine who is almost as elusive as @Aisehman okay haha. Good seeing you, woman!

Woo woo a duet! Really love the performances in the party to teman our lovely food…

Jenkin Yat, Joshua Ong and myself makes up the LANSI gang haha.. and plus one Ah Bok 😛 What a reunion of KL bloggers – and now we can be on WeChat together-gether 😉

Henley Hii looking ever so dashing… When can I ever go back to the times when I was that sexy? 😛

The gorgeous girls woooohooooo! (Veron, Anna, Queenie and Sarah May Low) 😀

Oh and there were events where some of us had to participate too, and it was real fun as DJ Rudy impressed us with his hosting skills haha.

Jessica Tan and Ah Bok in some swirly lights, woohoo!

This is DJ Rudy trying to pick up Bridgette 😛 Don’t blame him haha. Well, maybe he should have asked for her WeChat ID, no? If you did bro, do share! XD

Aaaand this time it was ME with them gorgeous girls haha. Damn I love this pic, for various reasons 😛

More and more bloggers we met, what a small world! Only could recognize the popular Jane Schwan and Wilee T of course 😉

My baby and her WeChat app – yeap, we’ve already been using it for a while now 🙂

Jess and Veron, my two lovely ladies!

A very disappointed BroFramestone who could have won himself amazing prizes, but got the tagline wrong XD It’s “The New Way to Connect” bro!

Oh and guess who I saw at the party too… Bro Don’t Like That La Bro! Or was it something else you’re looking at in the picture, hmm? Hehehhe I know la, I know you know 😉

The winners all won something, and that shows how generous the folks at WeChat are. From great performances, to games and prizes, to their lovely food and free flow drinks – it all made the WeChat Party such an awesome night, graced by Mr. Poshu Yeung, Vice President of the International Business Group of Tencent Holdings Limited himself.
