meet basic needs of some of the runners. It was, put simply, a logistical nightmare.
This year they’ve changed the organizers, and it’s no surprise that they engage some of us to help throw away the negative impact of last year’s race. No doubt people will be talking about the previous failures and rumors will spread, you know, the Malaysian way. Well, I’m of the opinion that we have to always give people a chance to prove themselves. Spinzer.us is proud to be part of the race this year (for the first time) where I’ll be taking the media 5.5km run at Sepang International Circuit at NIGHT! We literally will have an Energizer LED headlight to light up the road in front of us, how cool is that?!In any case my race kit arrived yesterday by mail and I was really happy because my previous marathons always ended up in disaster at the beginning because I always forget to pick up the race kit. Thank God I passed that one! There were stuff like discounts for running shoes and vouchers in it, but what I noticed most was my bib that says @Spinzer and my Kiwanis badge, the charity they are supporting via this race. I’ll be proudly showing them at the race so if I see you there, come say hi!
Anyway i had to try them on right, and since it was my first time having to wear a singlet like this, I might as well post up a picture of it. Excuse my sleepy face :pAh, fits. Well, yes, sucked in tummy but who doesnt do that these days?! Haha. Really excited for the run happening this Saturday, 21 April at 8pm 🙂
At least it’ll make good practice before my 10km run at the Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2012 coming up next. Gah!

I can’t even tahan in futsal now.. it’s depressing 🙁
