A day in Skybar

offtopic:

So I’ve been reading theStar lately, and I noticed I’ve been more absorbed lately by its articles. More freedom in speech? More (if not a little more) unbiased comments on “sensitive” situations?

It’s a clear “yes” for both. Yes, even I can be a “yes man” from time to time πŸ˜›

I guess we’re now in a situation where “change” seems to be predominant, and I really think this is the time to take advantage of, if you really want to make a difference into the lives of the Malaysians. When we ran the first Malaysian Student Leaders Summit last year, along with our Projek Amanat Negara series, we’d never thought our country would come this far by then, making our topics of discussion highly relevant.

But it did.

So what is going to happen from now on? Let’s see, Tun Dr Mahathir has got his own blog now, the Royalties have decided to come out of their usual silent stance in the world of Malaysian politics, popular lifestyle bloggers have began (if they haven’t already) to lend their support spreading all kinds of awareness bar the fear from ministers within the country, more and more corrupt judicial issues being ironed out, the list goes on and on, and yet, you and I can only speculate on what’s next on this “changes” list, presumably arriving sooner than we think. Popcorn, anyone?

Okay that was one off-topic intro lol. Lesse here, a friend of my friend came down from London with his father, and we were tasked to show them the nightlife here in the the land of Mud (KL la doods) and so we brought them to KLCC’s Thai restaurant, forgot the name lol.

Friend

Handome or not?

Father

Lagi handsome lolol

KLCC

The picture above is my pride and joy while we took them to Skybar, after our scrumptious and zesty dinner, review coming up πŸ˜›

Skybar wasn’t that impressive, I thought better of Lunar Bar. I guess it’s mostly due to the humidity level plus the unbearable hotness. I’m just made for air con la. lol.

Friend

Sure didn’t stop him from having fun πŸ˜› Oh and this is the first time I came up with this new photo-taking technique, by synching someone’s flash by the side to the time I take the shot! Nice?

Melvin

Another attempt. But fail tho. Must be the model la haha.

Skybar

I must admit the design’s pretty cool tho. And if you DO get that seat outlooking KLCC, the experience is a one-time must! It’s not the first time I’ve been here, but neither it is going to be the last because we of the Catalyst, Imperial Alumni may be organising an event here πŸ™‚

Wanna say something?
