One of the highlights I have this year, is to be featured on Bernama TV‘s The Breakfast Club (Astro 502)- my first longest LIVE appearance on TV where I discussed about social media at large, about how my silly blog got popular, how I got involved in social media activism and even managed to slot in about how the opportunity for youths have come to Malaysia (in the form of EYE Project). This would not have happened if I did not stumble into @Syafique of the Motivation.my fame, which would not have happened if myHarapan did not invite me (it was a pitch to our Prime Minister @NajibRazak himself, too), and that would not have happened if @RoslanBZ did not have faith in me.

Below is the recording on Bernama TV’s YouTube channel – do excuse my excessive repeating and nervousness, was already doing my best!

There’s a lot more to share regarding the progress that has happened since the first twtup of the year (#1111TwtUp) at @JayaOne, to experiencing @TeachForMsia’s first crowning of 2011 Fellows, to some dramatic make ups and break ups, to meeting legends such as Professor Muhammad Yunus of Grameen Bank fame, seeing both @UKEC & @YCMS to the height of its progress and of course being best man to Wan Mohd Firdaus, le partner in crime, and many, many more wonderful and exciting moments!

But that will have to wait because I’ll be heading to @JayaOne to countdown to the mysterious year of 2012 – however, I feel that this coming year will be a legendary year, especially for the youths of Malaysia, because for once – their passion and efforts will be recognized and respected by the people of power, and thus, Malaysia’s progress into a high-income nation by 2020 will soon come to be true – thanks to the integrated efforts of both the young and the old!

Finally, the crystal clear vision I had since I was 20 years old was coming to materialize… and it is all thanks to the the support of some of the most fantastic people I’ve met over the years. Let’s greet 2012 with lots of bangs and blasts together!

She just turned 19 yesterday.

I was at the party. Though much, much earlier. As early as @JeffroOng this time round!

Two years ago I was at the same party. With the same people. Same household. Same gorgeous sister. Same motherly mother. Same quiet grandmother (cause I dont’ speak her language, see?)

Same, nostalgic food. Love the spaghetti. Well, there were additions too. Super spicy Kerabu.

We all looked different. No, not older. Younger.

The theme for the party was… Back to School.

And back to school… we did. With glasses. LOL.

My version of back to school… is playing with plush toys. Not that I liked it. I LOVED it.

Oh yes, all of us had the plush toy syndrome. Don’t think you can resist from… the Angry Bird.

Jamie turned into something else. A goth cosplayer. LOL.

The question is… are you jealous yet? Happy 19th birthday Jamie Liew, visiting your house was a blast! Yes, even without @tanyeehou! Haha

Will this picture be enough to explain to you why making sure I’m invited for this event all worth it?

Fact of the matter is, partying is such a boring term when you’re invited to almost every party there is. But hey, when you’re INVITED to a party, especially one that’s rocked by awesome bands like Kyoto Protocol and Vandalism, it almost takes you to a whole new level innit? I mean, take a look at the gorgeous babes up there – yes, them Hennessy drinks damnit, not those kind of babes – how can you NOT enjoy yourself on a Saturday night like that!

Of course what’s really special about it is the ability to take pictures AND upload it into Facebook straight away. Here’s an example of some of the cool stuff that can be done at the Hennessy Artistry event in Opera

And who else to join me in the picture but some of the awesome guests who joined me, thanks to Kyoto Protocol! Like any of them? Sorry mate, they’re mine! Haha

Yes, did I already mention that they are the one of the most amazing bands ever? These bunch of talented guys are not only amazing in their music, but in also other aspects of their lives! Imagine, they’ve grown from performing for their own enjoyment into competing in the likes of Baybeats and more – damnnn!

Of course, the usual suspects were there Meet Felicia and Zoey, two amazing ladies who’ll never get drunk, ever. Try them when you see them next hehe.

The awesome party was all thanks to Hennessy VSOP, and apart from a glitch or two, I enjoyed myself pretty much, especially when hosted by the awesome Fay Hokulani! Boy does she know how to parteh!!

Until then, can’t wait for the next one to happen. Awesome friends, awesome party and even awesomer drinks – an unforgettable night indeed. Just too bad I didn’t take anyone home with me, innit?
