Postman Pat @ Mail Boxes ETC

I think I met my Postman Pat right here in Pavilion.

You know how we always sing that all-too-familiar song that goes like this:

Postman Pat, Postman Pat,
Postman Pat and his black and white cat,
Early in the morning,
Just as day is dawning,
He picks up all the post bags in his van.
Postman Pat, Postman Pat,

Postman Pat and his black and white cat,
All the birds are singing,
And the day is just beginning,
Pat feels he’s a really happy man.

Except that we rephrase the second verse to be “Postman Pat and his chao ji biet” HAHA ok bad taste joke lol. ANYWAY a few weeks ago I wanted to ship a pair of KEYS to London, and I was directed to the Mail Boxes ETC by my colleague, which just opened a few months ago in Pavilion.

Now, ifย  I were to do this alone, I would have to go through several mind-boggling security documents, understand certain procedures that I don’t even know why I need to just to send a freaking pair of keys to the UK!

Let alone the charges for this (and even CDs or DVDs, too!) can total up to a minimum of RM120!!

Fortunately for me, a Mr Kelvin Lee, who’s an associate there, was soooooo helpful (haha) and friendly that he even posed for me when I said I was so impressed that I will blog about this scenario!

Actually he has glasses one, but he removed it. That vain leh. haha! Anyways we had a little chat on blogging and he was really impressed and asked me if I will blog about him, but I told him la my blog no one visit one, won’t get famous hehe. He was nevertheless very enthusiastic, so nice right!

The place quite nice right ๐Ÿ˜€

And there’s even internet kiosks!

So there you go, my experience in international shipping, which was made real easy thanks to Mr. Kelvin. I will add the address here in case anybody needs it, once I get in touch with him again, or when I actually find the business card that I sillyly misplaced!

  3. i have been patronizing Mailboxes since i first discovered them in Hartamas. They have the best service ever. I go there to get all my binding, laminating, printing, photoscopying and mailing done. Every single thing cos they are just too reliable to be true. Staffs are super friendly and helpful :))) Some services can be a little pricey but i’d say it’s worth the price ๐Ÿ˜€ also, different branches have different pricing policies, so i have discovered. go to the one in midvalley, albeit a little smaller, service is top notch.
