Chris Tock in Heels for Global "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" Day

So the Global “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” Day will be happening at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this Sunday.

Guess who’s prepared for this bizarre event?

Nice or not my legs? HAHA! Seriously, I’m beginning to love being in a woman’s shoes. For one thing, the shoes are pretty damn attractive!

Of course, my participation was made possible thanks to @missy_a_n who kindly offered to sponsor my 4-inch heels on top of my own commitment to the event, which is jointly organized by Women’s Aid Organisation and The Pixel Project.

Malaysia’s Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) is an independent, non-religious, non-governmental organisation based in Malaysia that is committed to confronting violence against women. WAO was established in 1982 when it opened Malaysia’s first Women’s Refuge, providing shelter, counseling and child support to battered women.

Okay lah I was kidding… There was NO WAY I’m going to walk in a 4-inch heels… man it was so hard to balance on, painful, and you’ve no way of telling if the heels were going to break or not. LOL!

So here we go again in search of the perfect heels at Princess, guided by Aliaa, my awesome sponsor 😀

Oh and did we mention that if you buy your shoes from Princess, as a participant, you can get them at 50% off?

Walk-a-Milers are invited to get their shoes from the Official Kuala Lumpur Global Walk Shoe Partner, Princess, who will give Walk-a-Milers with a valid

Walk ticket gets 50% off a pair of suitably sized high heels if they buy the shoes pre-event, and 20% off if they buy the shoes at the event.

Well now you do, so there’s no excuse NOT to partake in this fun event on Father’s Day! 😀

Soon enough, we found the perfect high heels for me. Aliaa loved it most because of the furry top. I found it cute too, to be honest 😛

Did a little cat walk, balanced it around and even tweeted while wearing it to make sure I can last through the length of the walk!

That’s when I decided… this was it! My first ever pair of high heels woo hoo! Do you like it?

All thanks to @missy_a_n for sponsoring my heels (AND the pink bag!) and of course Ayman for being our photographer 😀

Oh and why is it done on Father’s Day you ask?

Holding Global “Walk A Mile In Her Shoes” Day on Fathers’ Day also makes it a family event… which it should be because just like the old saying that “it takes a village to raise a child”, it also takes a village working together to end violence against women. – More here, especially if you want to see hilarious pictures of dads in heels with their children XD

Are you MAN enough to WALK a MILE in HER shoes?

Wanna say something?
