1. Hmmm… I would definitely go for Facebook simply because I’m a FB addict and my notebook is with me all the time! This is the easiest way to keep in touch with my friends and acquaintances so I’m online 24/7, which leaves me very little time to do anything else. If I want to pass on any info to them, it’s done in the blink of an eye!

2. I’ve no problems giving out my twitter and Facebook accounts as those are my means of contact. I dislike spam SMSes clogging up my mobile’s mailbox, and that goes as well for emails. Too much junk mail to filter through, for me that’s not very productive.

I’d say Twitter. From my personal experiences, it triumphs over Facebook, e-mail or any other forms of communication.

1. Unless that person has very few friends or checks his or her Facebook account frequently, then chances are he or she might miss out on announcements made by a company.

2. While I check e-mails frequently, I often delete e-mails I thought would be spam without opening them at all.

3. I don’t know about other people, but the extension I’m using on Chrome currently for viewing Tweets enable me to check on updates frequently, including past Tweets made while I wasn’t looking – as opposed to Facebook where my News Feed is often swarmed by tons of status updates and other information.

1.for the best communiqué, i prefer by facebook because facebook is the most popular social network and i think now every internet user has facebook account.

2.I dont mind to giving out my personal details like an email, facebook acct, phone number or home address as long i know the company very well.

2. giving out emails are okay since if it’s really junk or spam, we can label those emails as such and we won’t get the emails again…

1. I check my mail more than once a day. So, I’d always prefer email.

2. Giving out my email would also be okay because if I get anything I don’t like, I can mark it as “junk”. 🙂

My lecturer always say that we’re living in an info overload society. LOL. So it’s vital for companies to have the correct approach when approaching potential and existing customers. Good topic. =) Here are my answers:-

1. Facebook is a good way since I’m always looking at updates there. However, I personally prefer getting promotion info through direct e-mailing because it has a more personal feel for me and thus gets more interest from me. And also because e-mails usually include links to the official website which I can click on and find out more info for myself if I want to; since I’m already online that time. SMS-es tend to make me wary and they are normally short and do not contain much detail. =P

2. I would not mind giving out my e-mail address. I’m alright with giving out my phone number and home address too since CROCS is a very well-known company with strong brand name. I would trust them to treat the personal data with respect and maintain confidentiality. =)

I personally prefer SMS compare to other platform that listed as Jacquelyn had mention. Secondly I prefer facebook, bcos a lot of things can b done in it & to attract youngsters. Thirdly is direct email.

1st question:I would definitely prefer facebook,because i check my facebook everyday!Other than that it’s less annoying than sms and cheaper too.
2nd question:I feel safer to give out my email because i don’t like receiving sms all the time afraid it might interrupt me during my classes.=D

1)In my opinion, Facebook definitely the best method for Crocs Malaysia to send out their communique as this social network takes over the TOP SPOT while Twitter is climbing the ranks. 😉

2)I would most comfortable to give out my email address, might as well my facebook profile as the 2nd option. =)
