The Day I got Tiestofied

Last weekend was an eventful one, yes, so eventful that it even caught our local media’s attention in the funniest way possible. lol. Luckily I wasn’t one of them in the photos 😛

Yeap, it was the Freedom Festival 2008 that was held in Port Dickson’s Admiral Marina Port for two whole days! Of course I went there for the sole fact that DJ Tiesto, arguable the greatest DJ alive for trance music (and I LOVE harmonic trance, btw!), was the star of the night!

DJ TIESTO!! (This is such a bimbotic post)

You’d be amazed with the crowd that was there…

The 3D visualiser was amazing, making use of smoke screens and strong laser lights to form what you see up there. It moves as if it were in its own dimension, cutting everything into separate entities, and you cannot help but to try and reach out your hands to see if you, or rather your hands, would be transported into another place and time…

The brightly coloured lights, lasers, whatever. It’s so breathtaking I might as well commit suicide.

Yellow flashlights together with an angmoh at the side make the picture above look like it was from some war scene in Iraq or something. Model: Gareth the Shaolin Tiger

There were fireworks blasting throughout the session, even during the other DJ’s sessions like DJ Ferry Corsten and Cosmic Gate, which all trance lovers should be familiar with. The above happened to be the finale works during Tiesto’s era.

But of course, none of it would be BEST without the right companions to go with! Fireangel, KY, Dupree and the drunkard ST can be seen enjoying themselves here 😀

Other culprits include young/hot/sexy/lovely Pinkpau here, and if you can see, a hint of Kimberlycun as well right between KY and Dupree 😀

Of course, what post would be complete without a self-obligatory-photo of myself la hor hehe… and of course, my lovely first wife cum celebrity blogger and actress, Suanie. Oh yeah, you’d be wondering who’s the noob there with the middle finger: he’s none other than Eyeris. Oi why u so evil la!

~ω~

Finally we also met Sammy there, who didn’t follow us but “coincidentally” bumped into us there lolol. What are the odds la hor, especially after the bunch of us went to Chamang Waterfalls, which I have yet to finish blogging about!

All in all it was a really fun and adventurous outing, starting from KY’s place in SS3. There were two cars: my Honda CRV, carrying KY, Dupree, Pinkpau and Spongefox; and Suanie’s, carrying Eyeris, FA, ST and Kim. It was really funny as we tried to avoid the KL-Seremban highway’s jam but ended up taking 2+ freaking hours to reach Port Dickson, though we were lucky that we didn’t have much trouble looking for carparking… with a hefty cost of RM20 per car of course lol. The rest, of course, is history as we raved away until 3am, went back for supper at Ming Tien’s and respectively trudged our way home around 5.30am that marked the end of our Tiesto-fied journey.

Wanna say something?
